Subject: [ebxml-dev] CC Specification Review Deadline is approaching fast
There are less than 7 working days left to comment on the "ebXML Core Component Technical Specification, Part 1, Version 1.8" (http://www.unece.org/cefact/ebxml/ebXML_CCTS_Part1_V1-8.pdf) which is currently out for Public Review under UN/CEFACT Open Development Process. Many conversations/debates/discussion have taken place in some of the public forums (lists) on the CC subject. However, as of today, only a few comments have been received, and most are from users that did not engage in the public forums. Let me remind you, unless you submit comments officially, they will have no bearings on the next revision of the CC specification. I encourage those that have expressed their concerns about the CC specification, not being what it should be, to be constructive and submit their comments and suggested changes for improvements. Blowing of steam in public does not help in the process to deliver a specification that meets the users needs. UN/CEFACT's Open Development Process allows, via its public review cycle, anyone to comment on the specification. So please, if you have constructive criticism, pass it on by submitting them officially. The deadline for comments on the CC specification is the 4 May. For those who have lost the URL to the announcement (including instructions), here it is again: http://www.ebtwg.org/news/040402.html Regards, Klaus -- Klaus-Dieter Naujok UN/CEFACT/eBTWG & TMWG Chair IONA Technologies, Santa Clara, CA, Chief Scientific Officer END 2 ANYWHERE <http://www.iona.com/>
