Subject: RE: [ebxml-dev] wrt CPP

I meant below "users from the same organization" who will have
the same PartyInfo, i.e., "User X and User Y from Organization ABC could use
the
same CPP" I am assuming here that PartyId does not resolve to a single user
in an organization, rather resolves to the organization itself. Organization
can be a company, a division of a company, or a few divisions,...

Of course, as you point out, if the users are from different organizations
that are different "Parties", the CPPs would be different.

The CPPs for different users can't be identical. Each user has a unique
partyId, endpoint address, and certificates, if not other unique things
also.
Of course, there is a lot in common also. An implementation could store a
single copy of the common information and separate copies of the unique
information.

Marty

Radhika,

Were you asking whether you need a different CPP defined & stored for each
user,
even though each will all play the same Role (say, "Buyer")?
I would think not, if other attributes are identical.

Subject: [ebxml-dev] wrt CPP

Hi all,

can any one put light on whether its required to store
the CPP information in the database for each user who
is using some display form for feeding the information
pertaining to the CPP as a result each user is
facilitated with the CPP.xml file once he fills in all
the data required in the form presented to the user.
I reiterate my question :

Is it necessary to store each user keyed in
information into the local database along with
construction and providing the CPP.xml file for each
and every user willing to create the CPP??

Thanks in advance.

with regards,
