Not that I know much about PHP but if
someone were to write the core as a
set of components which could be called
from PHP or other such then it all helps
to make ebXML more ubiquitous, I think.

Let us know if you make one :-) All the
better if it's free opensource :-)

It would certainly make finding hosted providers easy.

Guys, from a php-speaking geek lurker here, is there any interest in or 
work done so far re a php-based package?  (Frankly, I don't know enough 
yet to really understand the implications, so it therefore makes 
purrfect sense to me!)
