Subject: [ebxml-mktg-sc] 1/8/2003: ebXML and e-Procurement in the HealthcareSector

In addition, HL7 is involved with an experimental registry effort with
NIST. See Lisa Carnahan and John Silva. URL for effort is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HL7-Conformance/files/.

At the Open Forum we will also have a brief about a project, SAGE that
plans also to use Reg/Rep.

CDC is also involved in the Drummond Group interoperability test for
ebMS.

Stay tuned.

Carol:

If it helps, David Webber and I (well, more David than me) did an
article
for Managed Healthcare Executive magazine about a year ago that
discusses
ebXML applications to health care, focusing on the potential for
addressing
problems such as adverse drug events. See
http://www.xmlglobal.com/news/articles/MHC-ebXML-Article.pdf .
