In addition, Patrick's suggestion with John Borras is a very good one

Perhaps John can also recommend other appropriate dignitaries.

Sylvie kindly sent me a copy of your message and I reply to it as eBES
contact point. 
From the outset, it was definitely our intention to
co-ordinate/co-operate with you. It took us more time that we wanted to
start the project (I mentioned it for the first time to the ebXML
Marketing Team at the Tokyo meeting in November 2000!). We wanted also
to build a consistent draft before to present it to you. We don't want
to duplicate your information and we want to bring our own added value.
You might not like our style but we think that it is appropriate for
Europe.

I hope to present you our site by mid or end Feb. Like in many
companies, we have often to fight to get the appropriate resources to
conclude our projects but we are now near to the end.

Yes, you can count on our co-operation for announcement of events and I
take the opportunity to thank your team for the publication you made
about eBES on www.ebXML.org.

We think this is a great effort, and would like to collaborate with eBES
to cross-reference content, events, and adoption updates.  Perhaps we
can set up a process when either of us have updates, the other party is
notified.  First, please feel free to visit www.ebxml.org.  Could we
also consider mutual support for events, such as the upcoming XML Europe
2003 in May?

We'd be interested in your thoughts and suggestions.
