-----Original Message----- From: Hatem ElSebaaly Sent: Friday, October 06, 2000 7:36 PM To: 'Nick.Kassem@eng.sun.com'; 'PDeSmedt@viquity.com' Subject: RE: URGENT - Time sensitive information Phillip/Nick, IPNet is fully committed to do the following: - participant acts as a responder - participant uses HTTP for messaging (per ebXML TR&P Messaging Service spec) - participant uses SMTP for messaging We will also attempt to do: - participant acts as a requestor - participant acts as a hub I apologize for the late response. Thanks Hatem -----Original Message----- From: Nicholas Kassem [mailto:Nick.Kassem@eng.sun.com] Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2000 5:08 PM To: ebxml-Poc Subject: URGENT - Time sensitive information Dear POCers, Following todays POC conf. call it is clear that we have a long way to go and relatively little time. There is a remarkable level of commitment form the participants of the POC WG to see a successful outcome to the Tokyo event. We would like to be as inclusive as possible and have as broad a participation as is practical. Having said this we are under severe time constraints and the scope of this activity needs to defined asap. To this end, it is now imperative that you contact Philippe DeSmedt <PDeSmedt@viquity.com> and indicate your level of commitment/capabilities/roles no later than 12 p.m. on Friday (10/6). Please note that if you fail to respond to Philippe we will assume you are no longer in a position to participate in the Tokyo POC and your name will be dropped from the matrix. You may of course choose to rejoin the Vancouver POC. In addition I am aware that the POC proposal is still being heavily re-worked. Please note that Krishna Sankar <ksankar@cisco.com> is now the single point-person on pulling this document together. He is of course counting on our full and timely support. He in turn is available to respond to proposal specific questions at any time - feel free to contact him directly. The electronic vote on the proposal will close on Monday (10/9). I need to know whether we feel the proposal is good enough for submission to the stc and I plan to forward a status message to the stc. I am not planning on shifting these dates/time. The document does not have to be finished but it needs to be good enough for review by the stc. They need to see and bless the general direction in which we are heading. Hope this works for you all.
