Subject: depth attribute in GetClassificationTreeRequest
I would like to propose that as a scope reduction we ignore implementing support for the depth attribute of GetClassificationTreeRequest. It allows for getting the sub-tree under a specified ClassificationNode in a classification tree upto specified depth. I recommend that we only support the default value of depth=1 (i.e. get only the immediaqte children of specified node). This is quite adequate for the POC demo and does not take anything away in terms of end-user visible functionality. In interoperability terms all this means is that clients should not be written to specify a depth value other than 1. Registry implementations can save some implementation time and only return immediate children. Please let me know if any Registry implementors are opposed to this scope reduction. Silence implies agreement. -- Regards, Farrukh
