Furniture Portal Workshop Kick off meeting

Dear Sir/Madam,

The UEA, the European Furniture manufacturers federation, has the
pleasure to invite you to attend the ‘Furniture Portal Workshop Kick off
meeting’, which will be held on the 9th of February 2001 at the
International Swedish Furniture Fair in Stockholm.

The Furniture portal Project is a common action promoted by the European
Commission, the European Committee for Standardization/Information
Society Standardization System (CEN/ISSS) and the UEA in order to
promote the use of Information and Communication technologies in the
furniture sector.
 
With this meeting the European Commission, CEN/ISSS, and the UEA, intend
to invite business, government and citizens to discuss their role in the
development of the information society in the furniture sector.

There are no registration fees for this meeting. Participants are
responsible for their own travel and accommodation cost.

Stockholm.
