References to Pension, Super Ecom Payments

Dear All

I am arecent participant.

One of the projects running in Australia is a system for electronic
payments of government mandated payments from employers to pension funds of
a nominated percentage of employees wages and salaries.  These pension
payments are designed to reduce the demand which an aging population has on
the public purse.

I imagine there are similar projects on foot in the Northern hemisphere. 
Do any members know of relevant website references etc?
