I don't know that I would consider a discussion group to be "exotic web
technology". Although they seem to be popular among many, I, for one, am not
a big fan of listservers when better solutions seem to be available for
little cost and effort... and solutions that don't require a lot of "IF
people would just do this, and IF people would just do that and... ad
infinitum" in order to be useful.

But... maybe I'm in the minority on this.
