Those of us who are often working disconnected (eg while traveling) are well
served by email and would be less well served by a server that required
connected use as I believe most discussion servers do.

William J. Kammerer suggests further that: "For those who don't want to get
e-mail on ebXML throughout the day, they <...snip...> they can remove
themselves from the lists and simply review the archives on a periodic
basis." This is a wonderful solution, and if the majordomo configuration
problems that prevent unsubscription are resolved soon, I am certain that
many will be able to adopt this approach.
