William: Thank you for the kind words. I had the good fortune to practice paper-and-pencil journalism in a previous life and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to ply the trade again. Thanks also for the suggestions about posting on the lists. I had heard about the RosettaNet intention to use the ebXML messaging specs, but could not confirm it with two independent sources before my Sunday night deadline. RosettaNet has apparently not made a public announcement on the subject and I did not want to engage in speculation (another old journalism practice that seems to have gone out of favor). Saying you are oblivious to politics is like saying Einstein was oblivious to physics (trust me, I live inside the Beltway). Best regards.
