I think a lot of the hurdles found in not being able to use one format (a
single business message suitable for every industry) are at least
technically gone with the use of XML and XML schemas.
However as Remy suggested we should also look at OO approach to this problem
as well. At this point there is no harm in trying to solve the problem both
ways and see which works better in reality scenarios. One can only do that
if one has a demo implementation.
