There was also a suggestion to use XEDI from XML Solutions. They have al X12
documents already translated to XML. These all may be possibilities. The
thing is you don't want to give one company some unfair advantage. I don't
know how we go about it but if a company has been working on something for a
year and you completely decide to use that for thestandards approach, that
company is way ahead of everyone all of a sudden in terms of time to market.
Specially some company like CommerceOne can simply wipe a big chunk of the
market easily by such an action because of their already decent size base of
customers using their (proprietory for now) specification.
