RE: Highlights of the changes between BPSS 1.01 and 1.1

Title: RE: Highlights of the changes between BPSS 1.01 and 1.1

Duane:

I apologize, I did not mean to shunt all the contributors to the specification. I have actually sent yesterday the page that Klaus took off from the document that I submitted as an editor.

However, you are also the best person to know that a spec can only be published by and if there is editorial team that is attending every single conference call and working off every single issue and that it requires tremendous commitment that conflicts with your work and family life. All I wanted to say is that the 5 people that composed that editorial team left offcially the UN/CEFACT BPSS working group. Not one stayed at UN/CEFACT BPSS. To the best of my knowledge contributors have not signaled the same disarray with respect to CEFACT's attitude. A lot more contributors are now joining ebBP and I'd be more than happy to share the burden of the editor's job.

I did not realize that UN/CEFACT had done the same thing to someone like you that had contributed so much of your time, best thinking and energy to this great endeavour.

Best regards,

Jean-Jacques

JJ:

Please also acknowledge that others, such as myself, helped review that
work and also entered comments and feedback that helped move the work
forward.

Like all the volunteers, we did  this with the utmost of good intentions
to make a good specifications.
