In comparison with RosettaNet (www.rosettanet.org) I see ebXML is more suitable for all players (big or small) ranging across various industries. I used to be one of RosettaNet Partner Interface Process (PIP) Engineer who develop eBusiness standards for the usage in hi-tech (semiconductor, elecrical & electronic and IT industries). While RosettaNet is focussing vertically on these industries who had been dominated by BIG players, I reckon ebXML is more horizontally approachable adoptable for various industries and companies.
