This isn't addressed to Mr. Gould, since he seems to have already have his 
mind made up regardless of the facts.  But, so no one else (who's still 
reading) gets the wrong impression, the HIPAA regulations mandate the use 
of ANSI X12 EDI for certain domestic financial transactions related to 
health care.  A very limited scope, to be sure, and certainly much narrower 
that Mr. Gould implies.
