Subject: RE: WG POC Face to Face Meeting - October 17,18,19
Hi Joel, Thanks for your interest in the ebXML POC f2f meeting. The agenda for this meeting is still in the works and is a function of the POC sub-proposals and eventually the overall Tokyo-POC proposal. I expect to post the agenda soon after our regular conference call on 9/21. The target audience for this f2f are those participants who are committed to participate in Tokyo as reflected in our roles matrix. My hope is that we will have made sufficient progress to discuss detailed bits & bytes implementation and interoperability issues. The key dimension to the whole POC effort is open interoperability consistent with ebXML specifications. The main benefit is the validation (or not as the case may be) of the work going in the other ebXML WGs. Hope this helps. Given the tight deadlines we are working under, if you need to ramp up quickly and hence be in a position to actively participate in the POC, I'm sure the WG participants will collectively step up and bring you up to speed. Hope this helps.
