Subject: Re: Demonstrating Reg/Rep
Hi Joel, I am *not* advocating the scope reduction. I am simply saying that it may be OK for POC demo to focus on what is really important (browse/drill down discovery based on classification schemes) and not show less important (routine stuff) like submission. The only reason POC would consider this is if there is just too little demo time and too much to show. Again the important points I am making are: 1. The RR api is adequate for showing submission (something JP was questioning and I am dispelling the misconception) 2. Whether to exercise this functionality in the demo is up to the POC team defining the demo scenraio 3. Browse and Drill down discovery based on classification schemes is more important to show than submission Hope this helps. -- Regards, Farrukh "Munter, Joel D" wrote: > farrukh, > if the RR APIs are sufficiently defined, then why are you advocating this > scope reduction? > thanks, > joel > > -----Original Message----- > From: Farrukh Najmi [mailto:Farrukh.Najmi@east.sun.com] > Sent: Monday, October 09, 2000 1:45 PM > To: JP Morgenthal > Cc: ebxml-Poc (E-mail) > Subject: Re: Demonstrating Reg/Rep > > The RR api side of the vocabulary is adequate for showing this functionality > to > the best of my knowledge.
